26.01.10 - Gait Unheard

002 - 21 Jan copy

Hello!

As Twitcher mentioned in the previous post, I'm new to the Guardian Git team. I'm very grateful to her for inviting me to contribute; comedy and current affairs are two subjects in which I have a genuine interest.

You may have noticed a few changes to the format of the blog – from now on, posts will be at full-size (so you don’t have to navigate away from the page to view the articles at a legible magnitude), while the layout and colour schemes have also had an overhaul. Any opinions on the changes would be welcome; you can give your opinions using the comment function below.

The idea of the changes was to make the blog more accessible to readers. I consider myself to speak ‘pigeon coding’ – any fluent coder would think that I wrote HTML slowly, and with a strange accent - but let me know if you have any complaints or suggestions and I’ll do my (pigeon) best to sort them out.

I hope my articles don’t disappoint, and I look forward to making regular contributions.

I would like to mention that we are welcoming a new member to the G-Team. She is called J.V. The G-team may not be dedicated to G-spots, Gaelic or Garlic, but we certainly are gits, and we certainly will be posting frequently : ) Give it up for J.V.
